There is an ideal of human expression in terms of movement. This is our goal, to constantly seek this ideal. The closer you align the mind and body with this ideal the more a few things happen – you experience less pain, more freedom, more energy, improved health, reduced illness and injury, and faster recovery from any illness or injury. You are better able to learn new skills. Life is better.

To this end we employ:

  • Breathwork

The formal practice of conscious alteration of breathing has the power to soothe and revitalize a tired body, a flagging spirit, or a wild mind. From Pranayama and Tummo to Dan Brulé’s Breath Mastery Program, we tap into this foundational activity that connects the mind and body to life.

  • Qi Cultivation

The practice of aligning body, breath, and mind for health, meditation, and martial arts training. Using Qigong and tàijíquán, you cultivate the vitality of the body’s energy and essence. This allows access to higher realms of awareness, awakens one’s “true nature”, and helps develop human potential.

  • Primal Move

A play-oriented approach to the art and science of enhancing movement skills. You reclaim your natural ability to move with elegance, strength, power and speed leveraging the primal and primitive movements we all mastered when we were children.

  • Body Alignment

A unique set of concise bio-mechanical alignment principles are applied to Hatha yoga asanas. You improve your body’s flexibility and vitality as you bring your body into alignment with the Optimal Blueprint.

  • Metabolic Conditioning

Structured patterns of work and rest periods to maximize efficiency and build capacity in each of three metabolic pathways, beginning with aerobic, then lactic acid, and then phosphocreatine pathways.

  • Progressive Calisthenics/Gymnastics

Progressive Calisthenics/Gymnastics- A system of progressions, based on primary bodyweight movements. Enabling you to begin with minimal ability and realistically, safely establish a high level of functional capacity for body control and range of motion.

  • Weight Training

The art and science of lifting heavy things. By increasing the strength and size of skeletal muscles, you enhance your ability to control external objects and produce power.

  • Play

Play – Intrinsically motivated activities associated with recreational pleasure and enjoyment. You apply fitness in both playful and competitive games, creating fun and a lighter heart.
